Amy Gumm was swept up in a tornado just like Dorothy Gale. A higher power swept her up to destroy Dorothy and her close friends who let the power and magic of Oz corrupt them. No longer is Oz the vibrant place, now it’s a dark place full of monsters and danger. And Amy too is in danger of becoming one of those monsters. An assassin who has failed, Amy must find the light buried deep inside her to keep herself and her friends safe from Dorothy’s wrath and her own.
Hey there readers! Guess who is finally a graduate of Emerson College! This girl! Boy was it cold, and wet, lots of rain in Boston this past weekend. My mom and grandmother took so many pictures of me and Dennis Lehane was my commencement speaker, which was super cool btw. Anyway, it was tons of fun I just wished my uncle, aunt and fiancé had been there with me, but I’ll see them soon enough. On the bright side on the 21-hour drive I took back home with my mom (because we were moving furniture back to FL from BOS) I got a lot of reading done. So check out this week’s reading list. Happy reading! Continue reading Weekly Reading List #87→

In Gardnerville, no one ever gets sick and no one ever dies. But there is price for this small utopia. Every four years the town exacts a payment for its gifts, a payment in the form of infecting teens with deadly urges and even deadlier powers. Four years ago, Skylar’s sister, Piper, was the collector, and now it seems the town is haunting Skylar. Skylar knows what she must do: return Gardnerville back into a docile normal town or risk being the killer herself.
Wow, I can’t believe it’s already November. Goodness, the months just go by so quickly. I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween, I know I did. I went to Salem! Who doesn’t love the hub of where religious extremist took out their fear of the unknown out by killing innocent people? Well, it’s a great place to visit and learn some history, and a fun place in general to honor those who lost their lives so many years ago. Anyway, I had a great week and a great holiday weekend, except for the part when a restaurant rejected my state ID calling it invalid. I’m really 25-years-old, I swear!
But that’s not the point of this! (Sorry for my rambling) Let’s give a round of applause to *drum roll* A Million Worlds With You by Claudia Gray! This means this novel will now get a featured book review here on my website….the moment I get my hands on the book. (My To-read list is very long but this novel is going to move on up, I promise!) Check out what this book is all about right here and congratulations once again to Claudia Gray! (I met her, she’s a super nice person.) Continue reading Book of the Month – November 2016→
