“Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage.”

    —IMDB

One word: amazing! Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 does not disappoint. The film looks at the characters allowing for character growth while also establishing a family unit for the characters. The movie goes back to trace back the origins of Peter/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt). But there’s more to this film than just that. It had heart and focuses on the Guardians not just as a group of heroes or friends, but as a family. And that’s one of the things that makes this film so good because everyone focuses on the characters and their dynamics with one another. They care about each other, they fight with one another and for one another. They are a strong unit and the cast and crew make sure that that resonates off the screen.

The Blood of Grayskull | Part 4

Wow. Only two issues left before the climactic ending to the new 52 He-Man.

I wish Keith Giffen had stayed on the project. Nothing personal against Dan Abnett, but this series got way to dark, and this issue shows just how dark it got. Spoiler ahead, Adora kills her own brother and slices him down and Teela, the new sorceress, tricked her into doing it. That was just far too dark for the He-Man Universe.

Hey there readers! I saw Guardians of the Galaxy and let me just say that it was awesome! But I digress, SuperCritic (still working on a code name) is here to bring you some reviews! It’s going to be a very small weak because I had four comics in my file. First up will be He-Man and the Masters of the Universe #13 where She-Ra, I mean Adora, takes on Hordak with her brother and makes a new friend named Swiftwind! Followed by Red Lanterns #33 where Guy meets up with a new friend and his faction must deal with a traitor in their midst.
