Rowling’s Screenplay is Coming Soon

By Cynthia Ayala

Harry Potter is my lifeblood. It is what got me into reading and what inspired me to be a writer. And I have never stopped loving Harry Potter, never will. And I am personally thrilled that it is living again on screen and off. And now, J.K. Rowling and Scholastic, Inc. are gifting us with a take home version of the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. A beautiful hardcover edition that will reveal the story written by J.K. Rowling herself. God, many people may criticize her inability to let go of Harry Potter, but it is her child, it is a focal point in our history and something so many of us have grown up with. Rowling never, let go of Harry Potter…unless you’re really finally okay with putting away. Here is the overview courtesy of Barnes and Noble. Oh and it’s available on pre-order! Talk about good news:

“J.K. Rowling’s screenwriting debut is captured in this exciting hardcover edition of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them screenplay.

When Magizoologist Newt Scamander arrives in New York, he intends his stay to be just a brief stopover. However, when his magical case is misplaced and some of Newt’s fantastic beasts escape, it spells trouble for everyone…

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them marks the screenwriting debut of J.K. Rowling, author of the beloved and internationally bestselling Harry Potter books. Featuring a cast of remarkable characters, this is epic, adventure-packed storytelling at its very best.

Whether an existing fan or new to the wizarding world, this is a perfect addition to any reader’s bookshelf.
